Move-in Checklist

We're excited to welcome you to your new home. Start your stay off on the right foot by reviewing the details outlined below.

First Month's Rent & Security Deposit

Your first month's rent is due at the lease signing. Your security deposit is due at move-in. Please confirm the amounts with our team in advance.

Move-in Date & Inspection

We'll schedule your move-in and provide all information about the first inspection at the lease signing.

Utilities

Utility accounts for your rental home need to be placed in your name immediately following the lease signing. Be sure to handle this promptly to avoid losing access to utilities.

If you don't handle this immediately and access is shut off, you'll be responsible for paying any fees associated with restoring utilities.

Move-out Checklist

Planning to move out of your rental home? Please use the information below to guide you as you move out of the home.

Notice of Intent to Vacate

You'll need to provide us with written notice of your intent to vacate, in accordance with the terms of your lease.

Property Condition

Before returning your keys to us, please be sure to bring the property back to rent-ready condition. This involves the following:

Rental Cleaning:

Begin by decluttering each room, disposing of any unwanted items responsibly. Dust all surfaces, including baseboards, light fixtures, and ceiling fans. Wipe down walls and doors with a mild cleaner to remove any stains or marks. Clean windows and mirrors using glass cleaner for a streak-free shine.

In the kitchen, scrub countertops, sinks, and appliances, including the oven and refrigerator. Don't forget to clean inside cabinets and drawers. In the bathroom, sanitize the toilet, bathtub, and sink, paying attention to grout lines and faucets.

Vacuum or sweep all floors, and mop hard surfaces for a fresh finish. Finally, conduct a walkthrough to spot any missed areas and make necessary touch-ups.

Repairs: If any damage has occurred during your stay, please make the necessary repairs. This includes patching nail and screw holes, repainting discolored walls, and replacing any broken glass.

Security Deposit

We will perform a final inspection after you vacate the premises. If we identify any damage, we will make the necessary repairs and use the deposit to cover associated expenses.

Please note, you cannot use your deposit to cover your final payment. Failure to pay your rent on time will result in administrative fees, legal action, and adverse credit reporting.
